Let sleeping dogs lie…
….or a leveret in this case.
I have mentioned in previous images that photographing mountain hare leverets can involve a lot of waiting as they do a lot of this.
Always keen to avoid disturbing my subject, particularly a venerable young leveret, I opted to use a focal length of 600mm giving me a 35mm equivalent of 900mm so that I kept me distance and allowed this chap have pleasant dreams.
Once awake, and over a period of time some leverets will become comfortable with my presence and allow me use lenses that give a much wider field of view.
